Julianna Bulgarelli is a professional dancer and dance-educator, choreographer and Awareness Through Movement® Teacher. She holds a BFA in Dance and Spanish from Fordham University/The Ailey School. Currently, she is on the dance faculty at The Colburn School, the founder of Hope Street Family Center's Dance program, and Vice President of the Board of Trustees at Angelica Center for Arts and Music. Since 2019, she has been a company member of JazzAntiqua Dance and Music Ensemble, under the direction of Pat Taylor.
As a choreographer, Julianna has performed and presented her own work as part of LA's National Choreography Month (NACHMO LA), Dance Recourse Center’s Terra Nova Residency program, led by Rosanna Gamson as well as Keshet Dance Center’s Maker’s Space Experience. She has also had the privilege of being guest teacher and choreographer for South Pasadena High School and Academia Sabik in Cartago, Costa Rica.
Currently, Julianna is a 2nd year Trainee of the Feldenkrais Method® San Diego ATM Training Program and a Guild-authorized Trainee ATM® Teacher. Her many years of healing after a post-concussive injury has enabled her to create a holistic approach to dance-education and injury-prevention that she is committed to sharing with future generations.
Above all, she is passionate about sharing movement that inspires new possibilities for learning, health and self-growth.
